In Greek mythology, “Elysium” is the abode of the blessed, or paradise. Situated at the end of the world, it is here that those chosen by the gods are sent.
Elysium, with its modern contemporary decor, is perfect for one couple or cosy for 2 couples or a small family wanting to spend some quality time together. Each of the 2 bedrooms contains a queen sized iron bed.
Relax in the spacious living room, complete with TV, DVD player and stereo. The cottage also contains a selection of books, games, CD’s and DVD’s for your enjoyment.
Sip on a refreshing drink or cook up a feast on the BBQ and dine alfresco on your private verandah, overlooking the valley below. Or simply lie back and have a relaxing spa bath watching the wedgetail eagles soaring overhead on the updrafts.
Elysium is equipped with a two burner electric cooktop, microwave convection oven, toaster, kettle, a full sized fridge and a pantry full of basic essentials. The cottage is air-conditioned and a gas heater and electric blankets are also provided for the cooler winter months.
For those lucky enough to enjoy a longer stay, there is a washing machine in the cottage for your use.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us at The Heavens so we do not service the room daily. However, extra towels are provided should you wish to use them.
