In Ancient Mesopotamia, “Inanna” was the most important goddess of the Sumerian pantheon. She is the goddess of love and fertility.
Inanna is a luxury, architect designed one bedroom cottage. Inanna was designed using passive solar principles to make full use of it’s North facing aspect to ensure your year round comfort and also to take advantage of the incredible views of the dramatic escarpment that surrounds Kangaroo Valley and the scenic valley below.
Relax in the spacious living room complete with TV, DVD player and stereo. The cottage also contains a selection of books, games, CD’s, and DVD movies for your enjoyment. Inanna is furnished with unique timber furniture made from recycled hardwood by a local craftsman. The generous bedroom has a king sized bed and enjoys the same stunning views as the other rooms in this cottage.
Sip a refreshing drink while cooking up a storm on the BBQ and then dine alfresco on your verandah overlooking the lush green valley below. Or simply lie back and have a relaxing soak, while taking in the breathtaking view from the large oval spa bath for two.
Inanna has a fully equipped kitchen for those who wish to cook up a storm, with a 4 burner gas stove, convection microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, a full size fridge and a pantry full of your basic essentials. There are reverse cycle air conditioners in the lounge and bedroom, a heated towel rail in the bathroom for your added comfort and a gas log fire to cuddle up in front of on those chilly winter nights.
For those lucky enough to enjoy a longer stay, there is a washing machine in the cottage for your use.
To maintain your complete privacy during your stay at The Heavens, we do not service the room daily. Extra towels are provided should you wish to use them.
